How it works

Send us your list
An Excel sheet, a WhatsApp message, photos of the rack — whatever you have. We turn it into listings; you don't need to learn a system first.

We price and list it
Each piece goes live with its dimensions, grade and a market price, reviewed with you. Your name is nowhere on the listing.

The buyer pays us
Buyers order and pay 2ndMetal directly. You never invoice a stranger, chase a payment or handle a buyer call.
- 04
We collect and deliver
When a piece sells, we arrange collection from your yard and delivery to the buyer. You hand material over the gate — that's the whole job.

You get paid weekly
Settlements run every week for everything delivered, straight to your bank account, with a statement per piece.
Confidentiality is the product
The reason surplus usually sits is commercial, not technical: selling off-cuts openly tells your customers and competitors what you bought, what you paid and what you have left over. 2ndMetal is built so that never happens. We buy from you and sell as the merchant — every listing, quotation, invoice and delivery note carries our name. Buyers cannot see, search or infer where a piece came from.
Inside the seller portal you manage your side of the trade on your own terms: upload pieces, edit your prices in bulk, reserve or withdraw anything you sell through your own channels, invite your own team, and follow every payable through to its weekly payout batch.
Common questions
Who can sell on 2ndMetal?
Fabricators, stockists, machine shops and project teams with surplus or off-cut metal in the UAE. Onboarding is a short conversation, not a form — we verify every selling company and sign an agreement before anything lists, because buyers rely on what our listings claim.
Will buyers know it's my company?
No. Confidentiality is built into the platform's architecture, not just its policy — listings, documents and invoices carry our name, never yours. Buyers deal only with 2ndMetal.
Do I have to price everything myself?
No. Send the list and we'll propose prices piece by piece; you confirm or adjust. Once you're set up, the seller portal lets you edit your own prices in bulk whenever you want.
Can I still sell to my own customers?
Yes. The rack stays yours — if a piece sells through your own channel, mark it reserved or withdraw it in the portal and it comes off the storefront immediately.
How and when do I get paid?
By bank transfer on a weekly settlement cycle, covering every piece delivered that week. The portal shows each payable line and each payout batch, so the statement reconciles itself.
