Nickel alloys — Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy — are the materials that keep working where steels give up: extreme heat, aggressive chemistry, or both. Full-size mill orders are costly with long lead times, so certified surplus pieces are how small quantities of these alloys realistically get bought.

Each family has its territory. Inconel 625 and 718 hold strength at temperatures that soften stainless — gas turbines, exhaust systems, downhole tools. Monel 400 shrugs off seawater and hydrofluoric acid. Hastelloy C-276 handles the mixed, oxidising-and-reducing chemistry that defeats almost everything else.
At nickel-alloy prices, buying a full plate for a gasket-sized job makes no sense. An off-cut with its EN 10204 certificate gives you the same pedigree at a fraction of the commitment — and it is already in the UAE, not eight weeks out from a European mill.

Minimum order quantities and lead time. Mills sell full product at project scale; a repair or a small component needs a certified piece now. Surplus stock already in the country answers that.
Through the mill certificate — chemistry, heat number and specification. Listings with the MTC badge release the certificate once your order is confirmed; match the heat number stamped or marked on the piece.
